Portable Appliance Testing

Portable appliance testing is the process of inspecting and testing portable appliances are safe for use. These tests are conducted in accordance with AS/NZS 3760 or AS/NZS 3012. The testing is completed with the use of a portable appliance tester device which allows the safety status of each item to be assessed. Testing with a Portable Appliance Tester (PAT) is compulsory for construction sites, schools, offices and retail workplaces.
